Kokoda Condolences

Michelle, Wayne and the staff of Kokoda Spirit would like to offer their condolences, prayers and thoughts to the family, friends and collegues of those adventurous spirits that lost their lives in the tragic plane crash on the Kokoda Track.
Those that walk the Kokoda Trail know how physical, emotional and spiritual the trek across Kokoda is, you truly walk in the footsteps of heroes.
Tragically those that lost their lives in the tuesday plane crash may not had the opporunity to experience walking Kokoda, but they all showed the true Kokoda Spirit in undertaking the journey to honour our heroes that fought and defended the Australian dream.

Kokoda Spirit will continue to trek across Kokoda to honour the memory of all our Australian and PNG brothers.
It is very important that we continue to walk across this icon of Australia the Kokoda Track.
The sacrifices of these heroes should never be forgotten. While we talk about these heroes and continue to walk the Kokoda Track their spirit lives.
